What's the idea behind your simple German news articles?
We wrote these articles when we noticed that a lot of our students want to understand media German, but cannot dive into authentic newspapers right away.
How should I use these articles for learning?
We recommend reading the articles slowly, looking up any unfamiliar words, and practicing the vocabulary and grammar in context. You can also use them as a base for writing summaries or discussing the content with other learners.
What level of German do I need to understand these articles?
The articles are designed for beginner (A1-A2) and intermediate (B1) learners. We tried to keep the language simple and clear, while still introducing real-world media vocabulary.
Are these articles available as a PDF?
Currently, our articles are available online only. However, we’re working on making them available in downloadable formats soon.
Are there any exercises related to the articles?
Yes! After reading each article, you can practice with related exercises that reinforce the vocabulary, grammar, and concepts you've encountered in the text.
