What Does B2 Level Mean?
At B2 level, you can:

Exam Format
Written Exam (140 minutes)
Reading (Lesen) - 60 minutes
- Part 1: Understanding main points in longer texts
- Part 2: Understanding detailed information
- Part 3: Selective reading (matching headings)
- Part 4: Understanding arguments and opinions
Listening (Hören) - 20 minutes
- Part 1: Understanding announcements and instructions
- Part 2: Understanding conversations
- Part 3: Understanding interviews or discussions
Writing (Schreiben) - 30 minutes
- Write a formal letter or article (about 200-250 words)
- Topics include: applications, formal complaints, opinion pieces
