Private Speaking Course
You’ve learned grammar. You're more confident understanding podcasts and articles. But when you try to speak, your mind goes blank. That's how you know that you're stuck on the Intermediate Plateau, and now it's time to break it.
In weekly private lessons, we’ll explore curious topics within our structured Learning Method. Personalised study packs with discussion prompts and vocabulary will support you in each session.
As you practise, you’ll stop searching for words and start expressing your ideas more naturally as you speak. Instead of translating in your head, you’ll speak with more ease, clarity, and confidence.
Over 6 weeks, we'll follow a roadmap of private lessons together. Each one builds on the last, using thought-provoking topics, expert guidance and personalised study materials.

Before each lesson, I'll send you a light study pack with flashcards and discussion questions, to help you prepare.
Meet online with me each week for a 40-minute structured lesson. We’ll explore and discuss each topic in a guided environment, with grammar and vocab support.
You’ll receive a new study pack after every lesson. Each lesson, we’ll review past material and build on it, so your skills progress each week.
Our lessons follow our Learning Method: you get focused time to practise listening and speaking, ask questions, and get the grammar and vocabulary support you need.
I’ll introduce the theme, share some helpful insights, and set up discussion prompts to get us talking.
Quick, low-pressure questions to see what you understood and clarify any unfamiliar words or phrases.
We’ll go through the discussion questions together; I’ll support your speaking with CEFR-aligned grammar tips, vocab prompts and guidance.
Follow-ups are welcome - the questions are just a starting point. We can reason together, share experiences, or have a light debate.
We’ll do a short review of your progress and talk about next steps.

We kept meeting learners who understood German well but struggled to speak it.
They felt stuck in small talk - unable to talk about the things that truly interested them, and losing motivation as a result.
So we built this course to give them what was missing: structured practice and expert guidance, paired with exciting topics that spark curiosity, sustain motivation and build real speaking confidence week by week.
